It tries to be a smart switch in the fact that it automatically switches to whichever HDMI is outputting signal

and I am in LOVE with the intelligent switching.

Some devices just don't put out enough volts to support the switch by itself

The automatic switching can be annoying when something else powers up/down.

I'm ordering a better quality switch now.

Right now I have just an Xbox 360 and a PS3 hooked up to it, and the automatic switching works well between the two of them

The input HDMI connections were loose, so the slightest jiggle would cause loss of input and spurious triggering of the "intelligent" switching.

It worked perfectly switching between my apple TV, Xfinity Cable TV and my laptop

But, it's an inexpensive, basic switch.

The switch works great and does some automatic switching on its own with a priority order moving from port 1 to 3.

This switch works fine to me, but for somehow when I connect my PS4 and Wii U to the switch the signals of both device merge or interrupt one to each other, but I solver it when I connect my Wii U directly to the TV and the PS4 in this switch within my camera and Blue-Ray and works fine

I would suggest as someone else did, be sure to put your cable (if it stays on standby to record shows) to put it on the 2nd one as the intelligent switch feature goes by which HDMI is fully powered on

Does exactly as described, remote works well, and it automatically switches to a newly powered on source, as well as automatically switching back to whatever is powered on when the new source is powered off

I ordered two of this product, and the switch itself works fine but neither remote worked upon arrival

"Intelligent switching" feature is limited to sources that don't keep a connection alive at all when they turn off, which excludes my Roku & Time Warner cable box.

Again, my fault for not reading further, but this switch is useless, and a complete waste of money

It works good but when I am switching from Wii U to PS3 or my PC it makes a loud buzzing noise and cuts in and out a few times before it shows the picture on the TV.

The blue light that illuminates the active switch is very bright, and can almost be distracting, but I've just managed to simply turn the unit away so that the light doesn't draw attention.

The remote wasn't all that good, it was VERY limited in range, so limited that I might as well be pressing the actual button on the thing itself

My low rating is because in my opinion the manufacturer should include an appropriate A/C adapter with this, since it will not function as advertised with several HDMI compatible devices that do not output enough power to drive it passively.
