I love this item mainly because when I plug a USB device into it, it choses what is best for that device's charging requirements.

I'm sure it's fine for someone's office or garage workbench, but I wouldn't recommend this item for bedrooms or anywhere else that darkness and/or designs aesthetics are a concern.

Overall, this item is terrible and I would definitely not order it if I were you!

Pretty handy item.

Looks much better functionally than the old power strip I had, and I can plug in items that I couldn't before like the Smart Plug for the lamp that was too big even for one of those quirky power strips.

Would recommend this item to anyone needing a good power strip/surge protector.
