The vertical power strip came in a nice box that protected the item very well
Would recommend this item to anyone needing a good power strip/surge protector.
I'm sure it's fine for someone's office or garage workbench, but I wouldn't recommend this item for bedrooms or anywhere else that darkness and/or designs aesthetics are a concern.
Looks much better functionally than the old power strip I had, and I can plug in items that I couldn't before like the Smart Plug for the lamp that was too big even for one of those quirky power strips.
For that reason I knocked a star off, over all though this item is worth the money.

Solves a lot of issues traditional power "strips" cannot manage.
Now It can't handle the microwave being turned on, or the toaster oven being turned on without it surging on and of about 5 times and then losing all power.
It's a super power strip having tiered levels and usb ports that can be powered off
Nice compact power strip, love the on/off buttons for each level.
I had to go back to a regular power strip, which worked just fine.

Works as advertised and I love the fact that the cord is retractable!
Love the retractable cord as well; keeps the surface tidy.
I use it at home and when i am away camping or at a scrapbooking retreat where electrical outlets are not always available.. and the cord winds up in the bottom with a twist of your hand so no messy cords
You have to rotate the whole tower by the handle to lengthen and retract the cord
The item rotates, which could be a nice feature, however it tangles cords and pulls on electronics when rotated, not necessary

Lots of hard light weight plastic gives it a cheap/subpar quality feel.
This feels like a cheap plastic toy from the 80's: the charging unit wobbles on the base and feels very insecure, the "retractable" cord is entirely manual and does not work well, it feels like it would fall apart in a week, I am now nervous about the "guts" of the electronics since the exterior is so poorly constructed, etc.
The plastic also feels a bit cheap, and it's a little difficult to actually plug items into the outlets
Works as you would hope.
Recieving this today my first impressions were that the plastic is cheap and flimsy and the plugs had to really be forced hard to go in

The only thing that bugs me is that the USB "layer" has an annoying high pitched buzzing sound.
My only problem is, since I bought this product, it was working fine but after 2-3 weeks, it started giving off an annoying ringing sound
All ports and outlets work, however, this product may look cool, but it is very flimsy, and some of the button switches product a semi-loud ringing sound
