I didn't realize that 7 switch/outlets are smart controlled by the master outlet.

Because I’m using a halogen desk lamp as the “master control” load, I was pretty sure that its current draw would be above the strip’s built-in control threshold of 15W.

I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great power strip

It works well as a surge protector, but the USB charger makes a loud buzzing sound when my phone (Galaxy S8) is plugged in to charge

All my other surge protectors and electronics are fine but my Bestek now no longer is controlled by the master

This surge protector is excellent for an audiophile who can control their system effortlessly

Looks good, works as advertised, wish plugs were a little further apart.

It does work as advertised and the quality is good.

In addition to being able to control each outlet separately, I like the attention to small details like rubber pads on the bottom to not scratch up your furniture, the velcro tie to manage the cord, and angled plug holes so nothing will fall in it.

I use this switch on my tool battery station and it works GREAT!!

Even though I knew this when I purchased it, I would have preferred that the individual switch sockets lite–this way you readily know the socket has power.

I like the fact that I can turn off individual plug in spots or the whole strip with the addition of the USB ports

I was skeptical that this new strip didn’t have this fine tuning option, but apparently most/all current models of such strips don’t anymore.

The older one had a small adjustment screw that could be dialed in to fine tune the sensitivity of the “control load”, and once set, it worked well with daily use for years (until the internal switching mechanism recently failed).

Would have went 5 star but the power plug has to be on bottom due to design so limits what you can plug into the top outlet.

I can imagine the "smart master" outlet can be handy in many configurations, but it is not needed in my case

It is now August 13, 2018, eight months later and every outlet with the exception of one has failed!
