I thought it came with a Right Angle plug on the end that plugs into the wall

The right angle on this description refers to the power strip itself, not the plug into the wall

I bought the 7 outlet strip that has 6 of the outlets at a right angle to the strip, so that bulky plugs (like Macbook) only take one, not two spots

What makes this power strip stand out is not only the right angle orientation of the plugs, but also the last plug facing away from the rest of them.

No problems with this surge protector so far, it works as expected.

Perfect size for what I was needing it for plus now my TV is protected from storms.

It's compact size is a plus and it does a good job at surge protecting.

Used on a fridge, good size, cannot speak to surge suppressing capabilities.

Trying to force something in doesn't work, if you don't want to break your plugs

I love that when plugged into the top plug on my outlet I can still use the bottom outlet.

Can only use 2 of the plugs at a time because they are close together, but it works and I can still use the plug below when this is in the top plug of the wall.

Those bulky plugs are always a nuisance and space waster

When plugged in, you can't use a larger plug on the other outlet and the 3 plugs themselves are really only usable if you are using standard cords.

I was so excited when I found these on Amazon, I have several fish tanks and if you are an aquarist you know that practically none of the equipment comes with an on and off switch which means getting down on hands and knees and unplugging whenever you need to do maintenance or other cleaning

It works as it is supposed to, although multiple big plugs don't fit at the same time.

I use mine on a fish tank rack to distribute electrical power.

Had a power outage an they worked just like they were mfg for.

Bought this by mistake but still happy enough with it as it did help make the jumbled mess behind my TV and game systems a tiny bit neater.

I guess I should have looked a bit further, but I was misled a bit, I searched right angle power strip (right angle into the power outlet) and this was practically the first result of many which were right angled strips, this being around the same price, if not a little bit cheaper, and having a good amount of plugins, there aren't any pictures that show the actual plugin, which is a standard one

So it a bit useless since the top 2 plugs need to stay empty.

I use the switches all the time for a set of external hard drives I have that need to be used only occasionally

For me I wish the outlets had been more spaced apart as the reason for getting it was external hard drives that all have this big

Super handy for spinning up hard drives and gear that I need and turning off the stuff I don't.

With 6 external hard drives coming and going Windows did get confused and assigned the same volume ID to two different drives; shows up as one drive will not connect - just shut down and restart with one drive at a time, or identify the trouble drives and don't use them at the same time

Granted, these units will *not* protect from a direct lightning strikes, as for that you'd need a surge protector that responds in picoseconds instead of nano-seconds, though for surges from distant power line strikes they do protect and do this well

Mine obviously passed QC (no loose wires, mangled connectors, fire hazards, etc.)

It wasn't over loaded, just the plastic holding the 2 poles in the swivel area flexed enough to make a "near" contact that allowed a small amount of voltage to jump between the contacts without tripping the breaker like a hard crossed wire, and ultimately getting hot enough to melt then ignite the plastic case.

Within minutes of the power surge I smelled a smell of burning electrical wires and realized it was coming from our tv
