It seems like a very sturdy unit but the green LEDs are so bright and prevalent that it can be annoying.
It's forced me to rearrange what power strip goes where until I can find a proper 90 degree plug unit that I can use.

I installed this thing in a bedroom for a single night, and the green light is incredibly bright.
I like the green light, I can see it glow behind the furniture and know every thing is in good shape.
It seems nutty to me, but the wildly overdone light's probably very useful in an office situation to help you know whether power is flowing.
