Worked as advertised however, it took several hours to receive the welcome texts when I activated in the US stated in the instructions

so I fall asleep without waiting, the text never arrives, and my phone status is unchanged in the morning

The only downsides are that it doesn't easily give you your data balance, and it frequently sends you annoying texts asking you to "top up".
