PreSonus Eris E3.5 - 3.5" Professional Multimedia Reference Monitors with Acoustic Tuning (Pair)

    • If the bass is not enough for you then either you're using very low frequencies or your mix/EQ could use some improvement
    • I just prefer to go lower in frequency and have a 'little' more punch on low end when mixing
    • They don't produce too much low end, which has actually been a blessing because I feel like it gives me a better representation of what the mix or composition will sound like when someone else listens to it, because not everyone has 8' speakers and or a sub
    • I still don't have a decent sounding mix from using them (all spare time is on novel writing this summer), but for the first time I can hear phase conflicts and low frequency "mud"
    • The price tag is also a big plus, i compared them almost back to back in a cotrolled enviroment with the Yamahas HS8, and the presonus has a more balanced response, i find the yamahas to be too bright to be comfortable mixing later on, and almost half the price
    • The overall better performance has helped me achieve better audio mixes on my productions
    • These sound great and definitely help with accurate mixes
    • If your mix sounds good on these speakers, they should be great on any other audio device
    • It has controls to help you get an accurate mix by simulating different acoustic environments, so you don't have to run around listening to your CD in the car, on the computer, at some else's house, etc. to make sure it "really" sounds right, and the output is clear and crisp across the spectrum
    • did not know what it was until I listened with the Eris E5 pair.chances are if you don,t like your mixes sound on these most likely your mixes are not good
    • If I am mixing audio that needs quite a bit of attention, I prefer the larger ones with the front
    • It's great for listening to regular music as well as mixing and mastering your own mix
    • Good luck mixing with those guys.
    • I actually have a switchable woofer on the floor I add with these for listening when I'm not mixing or mastering, and so I can switch to hear what my mixes will sound like on a booming system, like some car stereos
    • The sonic difference between tethered 3" and independently powered 5" monitors cannot be understated; everything sounds better, more defined, and I trust my mixes more now
    • The PreSonus Eris series are all designed to be professional near-field monitors used for making critical mixes for audio or film/video production, and in that intended usage the Eris 3.5's shine
    • I listened to Rocket 5's, JBL 305's, M-Audio Bx5 and my favorite were the BX5's.
