Some people report some hissing or humming when no music is played

The "solution" I've come up with is to put my cellphone in a little tinfoil sheath while I work, but this leads to missed calls and many unhappy people who think they're being ignored

Why the freak don't these people put power controls on the front

Some people will blow it up but I have heard many speakers doing this in the past and have learned to accept it

Also I should mention how useful having front headphone input is, makes usability in a house with multiple people excellent

some people complain of white noise with these speakers, but its not the speakers, its the cables

Other people complained about a pop sound when you switch them on

It was a big leap from my L-Cheap-o $10 USD generic computer speakers
