Bought 2 36 pencil packages of Prismacolor Premier Verithin Colored Pencils upc 070735 024282 at same time

As a beginning artist, I use Prismacolor Premier pencils exclusively.

I have other Prismacolor Premier pencils and they have been great

Along with the Prismacolor Premier, they are perfect

Love the Prismacolor Premier but the Verithin are absolutely awful

I have a large set of Prismacolor Premier pencils, which are a soft core pencil, and the colors in this set match, but this is a fine point, hard core set, so they work really well in small areas.

I don't have the quality control issues in my sets of prismacolor premiers that people complain about

I have the prismacolor premiers for coloring/rendering art; these are more useful to sketch and layout basic drawings/shapes

These pencils work great for the finer detail work in artwork / renderings because the color "lead" is made of a harder material than standard Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils

These are a thinner version of the Prismacolor Premier set, although, they don't feel AS waxy

i ordered the 24 color box first, and when some of the most used colors got rather short, i ordered this larger selection and the 48 color prismacolor premier set.

My preferred sharpener for my Prismacolor pencils is the Prismacolor Premier Pencil Sharpener which has two blades specifically designed for Prismacolor pencils - one for the thicker soft-core premiers, the other for the Verithin or graphite pencils they make.

I use these in conjunction with a set of 120 Prismacolor premier pencils.

The first box I sent back because the first 4 pencils out of the box just kept breaking as I sharpened and the wood wasn't smooth as I sharpened.

The tips don't break as easily as with some brands, and the color variety gives a wide array of color and shade choices

these are very good, I like them to color in tiny spaces as well as for outlining.

It does not hold together well (as in maybe poor adhesive?), the cores were broken when delivered and as a result I've had to sharpen quite a few of these over half way down the length of the pencil just to get a point that doesn't simply fall the hell out

Sometimes I'm hesitant to order online because if their dropped, they'll crack and continue to break as you sharpen them

I would not recommend these for children as you could very easily lose a lot of money compared to crayolas, but if you're a seasoned artist with a semi-decent grip then go for it

I like the feel of them in my hands as well, not as if I am going to break them, but sturdy for such thin precision

In the end only 6 of the pencils last and worked as they should

I’m obsessed with adult coloring and these are amazing for very small intricate spaces, always makes it possible to shade those small spaces as it doesn’t lay down so much color at once

The tip doesn't get as sharp as I would like it too
