I just wish that the case was hard, like the prismacolor soft cores and the watercolor pencils and that they came pre sharpened

I love the original soft Prismacolor and have used them for many years, but now find I like the verithin ones too

Received my package today and began sharpening them with a prismacolor sharpener the lead and wood is breaking before I even get a point the whole reason I bought these

These pencils are a wonderful supplement to Prismacolor Premiers

but these are your soft prismacolor pencils very hard lead great for outlining

These go well with the Prismacolor soft lead pencils

another joy is that they hold their point very well and i expect them to last longer than the prismacolor ordinary premier pencils because of it.yes, add these to your set, keep a sharpener just for them and have fun!

It seems as though Prismacolor has a real quality control issue that they have so far apparently ignored, despite the number of complaints they have had on this one issue, going back a couple of years at least

Prismacolor is also great for experimenting with the blending pencil

Not as soft as regular prismacolor, so they hold a nice, sharp point, but still have the blendability of the softer core prismas

Though I do have some issues with Prismacolor soft cores, I have not found any other soft-core that creates the beautiful colors, shading and layerings as well as Prismacolors

many artists prefer prismacolor brand because the color line is the largest on the market and you can buy the replacement colors individually

My goal is to own all the Prismacolor's available, this was my first purchase!

I must say I enjoy all prisma products especially prismacolor premier

The first box I sent back because the first 4 pencils out of the box just kept breaking as I sharpened and the wood wasn't smooth as I sharpened.

The tip doesn't get as sharp as I would like it too

The tips don't break as easily as with some brands, and the color variety gives a wide array of color and shade choices

I would not recommend these for children as you could very easily lose a lot of money compared to crayolas, but if you're a seasoned artist with a semi-decent grip then go for it

Sometimes I'm hesitant to order online because if their dropped, they'll crack and continue to break as you sharpen them

It does not hold together well (as in maybe poor adhesive?), the cores were broken when delivered and as a result I've had to sharpen quite a few of these over half way down the length of the pencil just to get a point that doesn't simply fall the hell out

In the end only 6 of the pencils last and worked as they should

I like the feel of them in my hands as well, not as if I am going to break them, but sturdy for such thin precision

I’m obsessed with adult coloring and these are amazing for very small intricate spaces, always makes it possible to shade those small spaces as it doesn’t lay down so much color at once

these are very good, I like them to color in tiny spaces as well as for outlining.
