Prismacolor Verithin Colored Pencil, Violet (2445)

    • I just wish that the case was hard, like the prismacolor soft cores and the watercolor pencils and that they came pre sharpened
    • I love the original soft Prismacolor and have used them for many years, but now find I like the verithin ones too
    • Received my package today and began sharpening them with a prismacolor sharpener the lead and wood is breaking before I even get a point the whole reason I bought these
    • These pencils are a wonderful supplement to Prismacolor Premiers
    • but these are your soft prismacolor pencils very hard lead great for outlining
    • Ease of Use and DurabilityVerithins are made of the same vibrant pigment as the Prismacolor Soft Core, but are an incredibly firm core
    • so I chose to get the soft core prismacolor after purchasing the Marcos
    • These go well with the Prismacolor soft lead pencils
    • While I love Prismacolor I always have the same issue with the pencils basically becoming useless after the first time I sharpen them
    • I loved the prismacolor soft core pencils, so bought the verithin in order to color smaller details
    • I love Prismacolor Colored pencils.
    • Prismacolor did not disappoint me, yet again
    • Spend the extra 10.00 on the really good pencils (still Prismacolor, just not the verithin), i'm really disappointed in amazon and Prismacolor for the bad service.
    • another joy is that they hold their point very well and i expect them to last longer than the prismacolor ordinary premier pencils because of it.yes, add these to your set, keep a sharpener just for them and have fun!
    • Prismacolor Colorless Blender Marker 3533 was missing ! ? ?
    • There is no better brand that Prismacolor
    • I would definitely recommend the Verithins Prismacolor Premier Pencils to anyone who colors pictures with small details and especially to artists who draw with colored pencils
    • I love Prismacolor!
    • It seems as though Prismacolor has a real quality control issue that they have so far apparently ignored, despite the number of complaints they have had on this one issue, going back a couple of years at least
    • Prismacolor is also great for experimenting with the blending pencil
    • they work great with outlining work I've done with the prismacolor soft core pencils
    • Prismacolor Premier Verithin Colored Pencils, 24 PackAbsolutely love the vibrant color of these pencils.
    • But, as other reviewers have noted, these seem to have the same problem as the Prismacolor soft core pencils: some of them simply cannot be sharpened without repeatedly breaking
    • If your are into adult coloring this is the perfect set to complement your Prismacolor Soft Core pencils.
    • Prismacolor just has some issues with the wood used in these pencils:Like other reviewers' statements, I have had trouble sharpening the pencils
    • These have very hard leads so they are not as nice as the traditional prismacolor with softer led
    • I'm a fan of Prismacolor colored pencils and love using them.
    • Soft lead is the only reason I prefer Prismacolor, less pressure results in a lighter shade and more pressure is darker--can't easily do that with Crayola or other mid-strength lead
    • Prismacolor is the top favorite of everyone in art class.
    • The Prismacolor are good also.
    • I loved the Prismacolor Soft Lead colored pencils very
    • I love that Prismacolor pencils come numbered so that you can buy replacements.
    • I absolutely love Prismacolor, but I have not been happy with *any* of their pencils lately simply due to the amount of breakage simply when trying to sharpen the pencils
    • I'm going to try to upload a video of me sharpening one, with a Prismacolor sharpener (which they recommend using) and I get no where with the pencil
    • As disappointed as I was with the 72-color box of Prismacolor soft-core pencils, I am pleased with these thin hard-lead pencils.
    • Prismacolor for the price is a true winner and these verithin colored pencils are the way to go, I have used them for 15 to 20 years and I always keep many sets on hand.
    • They arrived in perfect condition and, as usual, Prismacolor is vibrant and beautiful.
    • Prismacolor Premier pencils are the BEST pencils for adult coloring books and color pixel books.
    • Dear Prismacolor, please, line up your leads!
    • Prismacolor has a very good reputation for pencils, etc
    • They are great pencils - their Prismacolor of course
    • I opened them today, found they were un-sharpened, but luckily had also bought the Prismacolor sharpener (which works perfectly on my other pencils)
    • They sharpen easily and do not break (unlike the softer ones Prismacolor makes, which break about 90% of the time, or at least that's how it feels)
    • Prismacolor is great for starting enthusiasts
    • Prismacolor should be embarrassed
    • Not as soft as regular prismacolor, so they hold a nice, sharp point, but still have the blendability of the softer core prismas
    • Though I do have some issues with Prismacolor soft cores, I have not found any other soft-core that creates the beautiful colors, shading and layerings as well as Prismacolors
    • many artists prefer prismacolor brand because the color line is the largest on the market and you can buy the replacement colors individually
    • My goal is to own all the Prismacolor's available, this was my first purchase!
    • She absolutely LOVES Prismacolor!
    • I love Prismacolor colored pencils.
    • They work very well in combination with the softer Prismacolor pencils.
    • The lead is very hard so don't expect them to perform like a Prismacolor soft pencil, their purpose is different from the soft pencil.
    • Maybe Prismacolor will improve there quality of these Verithin pencils ??
    • Love the Prismacolor Verithin colored pencils!
    • Count your contents--error was Prismacolor's, not Amazon's.
    • I got this to go along with my soft core pencils for fine detail, The colors match exactly what comes in the soft core pencil Prismacolor sets
    • They sharpen easily and do not break (unlike the softer ones Prismacolor makes, which break about 90% of the time, or at least that's how it feels)
    • I must say I enjoy all prisma products especially prismacolor premier
    • The first box I sent back because the first 4 pencils out of the box just kept breaking as I sharpened and the wood wasn't smooth as I sharpened.
    • The tip doesn't get as sharp as I would like it too
    • The tips don't break as easily as with some brands, and the color variety gives a wide array of color and shade choices
    • I would not recommend these for children as you could very easily lose a lot of money compared to crayolas, but if you're a seasoned artist with a semi-decent grip then go for it
    • Sometimes I'm hesitant to order online because if their dropped, they'll crack and continue to break as you sharpen them
    • It does not hold together well (as in maybe poor adhesive?), the cores were broken when delivered and as a result I've had to sharpen quite a few of these over half way down the length of the pencil just to get a point that doesn't simply fall the hell out
    • In the end only 6 of the pencils last and worked as they should
    • I like the feel of them in my hands as well, not as if I am going to break them, but sturdy for such thin precision
    • I’m obsessed with adult coloring and these are amazing for very small intricate spaces, always makes it possible to shade those small spaces as it doesn’t lay down so much color at once
    • these are very good, I like them to color in tiny spaces as well as for outlining.
