The quality of Prismacolor-whether it's the Prismacolor Premiers or now the Verithins is just not worth the money.

But the initial sharpening took forever and about 5 were broken, 1 so badly it cracked it was useless, which is a good average for prisma as the quality can be poor.

Let me be clear, I've bought the verithin variety of Prismacolor before in store (I've been using this brand for almost two decades) and they were great quality and perfect for fine-line, this is about the ones I purchased here and had delivered

Bad Mexican quality

the us art supply were the least expensive, but the 50 color set has too many nearly identical shades none of which have color names or numbers, and the plastic case is awkward and difficult to open without spilling the pencils out.all in all, i have found the prismacolor have the best quality of color, and are the easiest to hold

I was really expecting better quality - now I have pencils that are shorter than the package, so I can't even get them out, and I'm afraid to use them because if I have to sharpen them again they will keep breaking.

love the pencils however when i received them several of the pencils were broken and i could not use them but the quality in the surviving pencils were very good and the colors were very bright

However I do think they are the best for getting fine lines and a good rich color quality of those I have tried.

I would not recommend these for children as you could very easily lose a lot of money compared to crayolas, but if you're a seasoned artist with a semi-decent grip then go for it

Sometimes I'm hesitant to order online because if their dropped, they'll crack and continue to break as you sharpen them

It does not hold together well (as in maybe poor adhesive?), the cores were broken when delivered and as a result I've had to sharpen quite a few of these over half way down the length of the pencil just to get a point that doesn't simply fall the hell out

I’m obsessed with adult coloring and these are amazing for very small intricate spaces, always makes it possible to shade those small spaces as it doesn’t lay down so much color at once

these are very good, I like them to color in tiny spaces as well as for outlining.

The first box I sent back because the first 4 pencils out of the box just kept breaking as I sharpened and the wood wasn't smooth as I sharpened.
