This did just the job for a great price.

Great price point for the quality of it's output

On the other hand, many of you would still probably be satisfied with the $12 Pyle pre-amp as being able to do a decent job for a much cheaper price.

I'd definitely recommend this to friends because it is good and reasonably priced
