The bottom line is if you want to be quieter with better flow get something like the Silent Brass, if you're looking for something less expensive this is a good option.

I ended up drilling 2 more holes on the sides and one centered on the top it still mutes just as well but has better air flow

Both are free flowing and cut sound production down to nill.

The Liberty is the quietest of the bunch though not entirely the most free flowing, but none of them feel like an open trumpet
