Reviews around size (4.72 of 5)

  • I would recommend this tablet, the 10.1 is a nice size screen, easy to care, perfect for on the go light work
  • Screen is a good size, is not too heavy and the screen is sharp
  • It was a good price, had a really nice screen and overall size
  • Other than that I like the size of the screen, the previous installed Microsoft apps
  • Was not impressed with: (1) Resolution Quality: meh; (2) Overall Speed: 2.0Ghz chip very disappointing; (3) Size: the vertical length was just short enough to kick every page into mobile mode

Reviews around battery life (4.68 of 5)

  • The battery life is sufficient, but not as good as other tablets we've used.
  • Battery life on this is very good, and as I mentioned, the performance is great
  • However, there are a couple of drawbacks - the BIG one I didn't realize until I tried actually using it on flights is there is no SD card, and therefore you are limited as to how many movies you can download.
  • Battery life is good, not as advertised but good enough
  • I do miss the auto upgrade (of the OS) as in my iOS product whenever a new version of OS comes out

Reviews around picture (4.49 of 5)

  • Accessories in general for this tablet are hard to find right now at release.-Not compatible with 5GHz wifi-USB port is micro usb, not USB-C
  • Great picture quality and the best sound of any tablet I've heard at this price
  • The picture and sound are terrific which is most important to me
  • Awesome picture, super fast and love the LTE capability.
  • This is a great little tablet with an up to date version of android, beautiful sound and a great picture

Reviews around value (4.47 of 5)

  • the main thing: this is crazy value for the price
  • It's a great value, and it's not loaded up with a lot of apps.
  • Excellent tablet, overall much better value for the price than the "major" brands, especially when comparing the specs
  • However, there are a couple of drawbacks - the BIG one I didn't realize until I tried actually using it on flights is there is no SD card, and therefore you are limited as to how many movies you can download.
  • Great value and not too much bloatware compared to other brands

Reviews around sound (4.44 of 5)

  • and it's responsive with great definition and pretty good sound, especially on earphones.
  • The sound, power, fingerprint buttons all in very unnatural locations.6
  • The sound is great but compared to the picture quality of the Tab
  • Great picture quality and the best sound of any tablet I've heard at this price
  • The sound (through 2 front firing speakers) is not very loud but it is better than any previous tablet I've owned

Reviews around price (4.25 of 5)

  • All that being said, it is tough to beat this tablet for the price (about $150 cheaper than the iPad 4).
  • Accessories in general for this tablet are hard to find right now at release.-Not compatible with 5GHz wifi-USB port is micro usb, not USB-C
  • Great price and value Android tablet, I purchased this for my son who
  • Fairly current with the latest Android version.- Great price compared to other products
  • This will give Samsung a run for the money at a cheaper price and makes Apple seem like a waste of money

Reviews around quality (4.12 of 5)

  • It shows horizontal lines all across the display, imagine quality got a lot worse, and images would leave behind "ghost" that would obscure screen after a while.
  • The camera app available through the Kidoz application appears to degrade the photo quality by a lot 5.
  • That said the only thing I can say negative is the sound quality is poor.
  • Great picture quality and the best sound of any tablet I've heard at this price
  • I think the sound quality in the headphone jack is quite good

Reviews around performance (3.91 of 5)

  • Apps will be constantly closing and reopening leading to maddeningly poor performance
  • Battery life on this is very good, and as I mentioned, the performance is great
  • Good single app performance, nice screen, good form factor
  • The performance is quite adequate - not as snappy as my Pixel phone, but not frustrating
  • Accessories in general for this tablet are hard to find right now at release.-Not compatible with 5GHz wifi-USB port is micro usb, not USB-C

Reviews around display (3.68 of 5)

  • The display is very clear and robust, again in my opinion rivaling the IPad
  • The display is sharp, with excellent colour reproduction
  • I've never seen such a muddy looking display on an android device before (and I've been using android devices since android 2.1)
  • Was hoping to stay with a 7 inch screen and so tried a Samsung Tab a - which I took back within 24 hours of purchase because I was so unhappy with the laggy screen, muddy display, non-upgradeable Android 5.1 (my Nexus 7 had already updgraded to Android 7!) and amount of bloatware
  • The display is sometimes a tad bit grainy, and that's disappointing but not a deal-breaker

Reviews around product (3.67 of 5)

  • Again Lenovo has no interest in fixing it's crappy product
  • After this experience, I will not get anymore Lenovo products and will not recommend them to any friend or family
  • After owning half a dozen tablets or more, I can say that this is an excellent product and an excellent value.
  • Accessories in general for this tablet are hard to find right now at release.-Not compatible with 5GHz wifi-USB port is micro usb, not USB-C
  • Do not ignore the other bad reviews like I did.... avoid this product like the plague.

Reviews around device (3.61 of 5)

  • Since every vendor appears to expect the average consumer to purchase a new device every year or two by crippling their products (I'm going to speculate purposely), my search for products has changed to where I look for cheaper devices that can survive the duration
  • BUT--the device has a fatal flaw--it does not work reliably with micro SD cards AT ALL
  • I don't mean to be paranoid but electronic devices are expensive and not easy to replace on a whim
  • Great LTE SIM CARD device despite its lack to make and receive calls.
  • This one feels like a much more expensive device -- smooth, easy to operate, no sluggishness

Reviews around star (2.05 of 5)

  • If you don't need the kids mode, I'd rate it a solid five stars.
  • Although for my purposes, it's more than adequate, I took off a star because it's glitchy and, to be honest, worried me a bit.
  • However, there are a couple of drawbacks - the BIG one I didn't realize until I tried actually using it on flights is there is no SD card, and therefore you are limited as to how many movies you can download.
  • I do miss the auto upgrade (of the OS) as in my iOS product whenever a new version of OS comes out
  • I can knock off a star because of the resolution and screen dimensions, but this unit at 1/2 the price of a S2, the Lenovo is hard to pass up.

Reviews around know issue (1.95 of 5)

  • No idea why they continue to pump out tablets with that known issue.
  • It has a common problem that gives you a black screen on Youtube that hasn't been fixed months after its been a known issue
  • I liked the idea of a modern upgrade from my tab S 8.4, and had been hoping the 64gb/4gb version of this would come to the US

Reviews around warranty (1.95 of 5)

  • Poor customer services and Lenovo won't honor their warranties.
  • However, there are a couple of drawbacks - the BIG one I didn't realize until I tried actually using it on flights is there is no SD card, and therefore you are limited as to how many movies you can download.
  • And I don't think paying extra for a useless warranty was a good idea.
  • I've tried it with the microSD memory card in the position shown in the little Lenovo manual, as well as with the other side facing up
  • I do miss the auto upgrade (of the OS) as in my iOS product whenever a new version of OS comes out

Reviews around sd card (1.85 of 5)

  • I had read earlier reviews mentioning problems using an SD card, but through further research determined the solution was probably to install the available system update before installing the card
  • Accessories in general for this tablet are hard to find right now at release.-Not compatible with 5GHz wifi-USB port is micro usb, not USB-C

Reviews around time (1.79 of 5)

  • Some would work the first time, but quickly get corrupted and become unusable
  • I use it in landscape mode most all the time and it works this way very well.
  • but then I put the tablet to charge that was when I realized this tablet has a bad charging time it takes forever for this thing to
  • Freezes up all the time just browsing the web, almost doesn't matter which browser
  • Nothing but Amazon everything and had a hard time installing apps from google because it is not an Android device

  • It took me a ridiculous amount of time to uninstall all of those totally useless support packs

Reviews around problem (1.00 of 5)

  • Charger port failure was a problem with my first Lenovo tab, also
  • I hope the problem is a defect in my device, but I wrote this review as a cautionary tale, for potential buyers.
  • The problem is Lenovo is refusing to honor the manufactures warranty.
  • The only problem I have with it is turning the vibrate off when the tablet powers on and off.
  • DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and no longer have problems with the laggy video or other problems.

Reviews around numb (1.00 of 5)

  • It also limits the number of app icons I can have on each home screen which is...strangely infuriating.- The audio quality through the speakers is abysmal.
  • The reason I rated this 1 star is because it's unacceptable for me to be out S50 for a 128g SD card that can't be returned or exchanged and therfore have limited number of apps due to little internal storage which defeats the purpose of why I purchased this tablet in the 1st place.
