Promark American Hickory Classic 5A Drumsticks, Oval Tip, Single Pair

    • I bought it because of the shape of the tips to maintain more of a consistent sound despite slight fluctuations in the angles when doing rolls but the finishing touches weren't as on par as other brands, such as the lacquer finish on one of the tips had a small glob that needed to be scrapped off or else it looked and felt like a deformed tip, plus a few inches below each
    • Not a great cross-stick sound on the snare.
    • I play nylon tips almost exclusively because I like the crisper sound on the cymbals, and they last longer when playing on cymbals, but I bought these wood-tips for practicing on the practice pads.
    • They last a long time and have a great sound
    • Very rich sound with the comfortable weight and lenght of the 5A's
    • I like the sound of wood tip sticks on cymbals
    • The sound is much better and he seem to control the beat much better
    • A more organic bounce and less sharp sound.
