Two reasons people want to buy these: durability and looks, are not enough.

Nevertheless, great sticks, great durability and control

Durability wise, for regular playing they barely lasted longer than most other wood tip sticks I’ve used.

I feel I get very good durability out of a "normal" Promark anyway, but these seem even more durable.

Like anyone else, I prefer durability, but I don't care for carbon or other synthetic sticks, or even oak.
