It's just a bit awkward getting the horn out

This is a great case for any horn player looking to protect thier very expensive horn

I love the fact that it has a "shell" that protects the horn from the hazards of negotiating school halls.

May not be the thickest protection for our 10 yr old, but if your aspiring horn player knows they can't throw it around like a true hard case, shouldn't be an issue.

This fits my nephews French Horn perfectly well and has durability for a middle schooler to take this back and forth between home and his school.

After a month of use I see slight imprints from the valves where the case secures the Horn
