so you will need to move "to" the mic to speak, it's not stretching out away from the desk to reach you, and the mic clip is not detachable.

It's sturdy, base is solid, and the clip is good

I removed the top clip and inserted the firewire cable into the opening and then used the screw to hold it in place

I'll need to replace it with a better mic clip.

These are incredibly cheap but will get the job done, and you can never have enough spare mic clips!

The base and gooseneck stand are substantial and work well, but the plastic mic clip is useless
