Very sturdy solid steel U-Base, so your mic will not over-weigh it and tip over.. however the neck i appears to be shorter in size from the default pic, would've been better if it was a bit longer.

It's just perfect for holding up my heavy mic, and very sturdy
This is what it shows, a simple small mic stand that dont fall over
My mic is skinnier than some, so at level or angled upwards it has no issues staying in place, but when angled down at all it slides...not an issue with the item - just my mic

Neck is not as long as pictured, but for the price it is a very reliable product if it had a longer nrck would've rated a 5...

it's hard telling what'll be in the package when you open it, but it is a good product overall.

The gooseneck is of very good quality, but the mic clip is just OK -- I replaced it with the larger and sturdier clip that came with my Sennheiser mic

It's got plenty of heft, feels like it's of a good quality, and is very flexible
Bad quality, but if you put it on your desk and bend your neck like a goose, you'll still be able to do a podcast, I guess.

Base is nice and heavy cast metal, but is pretty rough sand cast.
The casting of the base is a little rough, which doesn't matter in my case, but might be an issue on a desktop.
The base itself is a painted and highly textured die cast metal.
Even if it is a cheap sand-cast iron base out of China, they could have made a bit of an effort to have it not look like a grade school experiment
