If you need and extra, desk top mic stand, buy it.

Threads on plated gooseneck are well formed and fit my mic very well.

Anyway, if you need a good, cheap, and sturdy desktop mic holder, you can't go wrong with this one

My mic is skinnier than some, so at level or angled upwards it has no issues staying in place, but when angled down at all it slides...not an issue with the item - just my mic

The big thing I disliked about this mic stand was it transfigured the vibration from a table to the mic way to easy

but the base is well weighted so with a Dynamic Mic and a Pop Filter its very stable
