Solved huge problem with some great modern amps that dumped phono input

I purchased my Yamaha stereo during that period in the 90's when few amps and receivers had phono capabilities.

but the sound is great and is the perfect solution to modern AV amps NOT having a phono input.

I have an old, and not very high quality turntable (Technics SL-B200), so maybe the output for that is not very high, but it seems like the pre-amp could have a bit more oomph to it.

Checked my system with a better amp, no buzzing.

While not an audiophile quality it sounds very nice in my hook up and allowed me to play my old Thorens turntable with a modern amp.

Do not expect superb sound quality from such a cheap amp but it doesn't harm the sound either

It was a cost effective alternative to listening to my turntable with headphones without having to fuss with a bulky vintage amp receiver

At any rate this Pyle Pp444 mini-amp solved my problem

I still have a collection of vinyl records and a very good Numark turntable, so was delighted to find this inexpensive pre-amp to allow me to connect my turntable to my new home theater A/V processor

After checking all of my cords and my speaker set up, I ended up replacing it with a better pre-amp and the problem went away
