For the same price of those horrible cheap plastic microphones, you can have something solid and clearer sounding from pyle

The microphone itself closely resembles the praised SM-57 and is just as heavy

This microphone is great if your starting small with a back line company like me this is a great buy for sure I will definitely be buying a lot more!!

Awesome microphone

Microphone quit working after 5 or 6 medium gentle use on and off stage

For a full two years the PDMIC78 has been the most reliable microphone in my rig, and I carry an SM-57 now to use the double-mic method

The microphone feels sturdy enough, but once you open it, you realize it is VERY cheaply made

Edit: I still love this microphone and consider it an amazing deal, however it is not a substitute for an sm57
