I would recommend this IEM to anyone looking for budget HiFi sound.
For the price I highly recommend this IEM, even at $200 you won't be disappointed!
Great affordable IEM with a detachable cable and V-shaped sound signature
otherwise I'd recommend spending a bit more money and get some better iems like the shure-se215 or even the Vmoda Forza which I think is the better of the 2 and probably the best iem I've tried in its price range.
If they break it's a lot easier replacing a $35 IEM than some of the other brands out there

The result is something similar to an expensive surround sound system - the music will sound like its coming from a little but away from you in a small room
Nonetheless thought I’d see if KZ has outdone themselves with the KZ KZ5.The soundstage on the KS5’s are much improved from my ATE’s... far more clearer and crisper than the ATE
The soundstage is full, just a little light on the bass which you can correct with Eq adjustments in your favorite music app
I like music, I like my music to sound good, and I know what I think "good" should sound like
Compared to all the earbuds I've listen to ( Shure SE215, KZ ZST, UE 4 Pro, klipsch S4,) the musics sound so much more relax thanks to being able to divide the different frequencies into appropriate drivers

Certainly they do not compare to $350 custom molded in ears, but for $40 what an awesome set of in ear headphones.
I have never heard such great sound from such an inexpensive set of earphones, anywhere
Fit and finish of these are leagues above the ZSTs, and I just don't believe you can find a better set of in ears that sound as good

The bass is a little strong, as mentioned earlier, but almost never gets in the way
Significantly better soundstage, significantly better instrument separation, same huge sounding (but not overwhelming) bass but better quality (the better separation really helps this), and a balanced sound otherwise that just oozes of MORE THAN 25 DOLLARS
My daughter gifted me with a pair of these after my rather disappointing experience with the Scorsche Sportclip3, which imo, had dismal bass response.
The bass on these are little strong for my taste, but it is very defined as if there is a mini sub woofer in each ear

I looped a song for probably 6 hours at night and by the time I woke up, the highs were burnt off just enough and the low end was strong
The quality of these from the deep bass to the crystal clear high end, just far surpasses any that I have ever used
A bit of twang on the highs, the mids are nice an open and the low end is very decent at mid-high volume
If comparing these to the ZSTs, I would say these open up the top end a little more which were lacking/darkened in the ZSTs, the bass doesn't hit your eardrums quite as hard which may be less appealing to some who would compare to the harder initial hitting ZSTs, but The ZS5s are absolutely full low-end reaching down to the 40's and 30'sHz sustainably and they sound quite nice

The price is right and they are truly transcendent when they're cooperating
Not worth the price
Worth every last penny spent, I have paid triple the price for other IEM's that do not and will never sound as good as these
Luckily, the price and the sound quality are too good to pass up
The same cost cutting is evident with the lack of a case as well, but in my opinion, the sound of these things at an incredible price point more than makes up for the lack of luxury peripheral items

KZ is known for making cheap but incredible sounding earphones using good components
These earphones sounded great while they worked, but unfortunately lasted less than 6 months before the right side volume dropped to about half the level of the left
The earphones are nice but they don't come close to Sony extra bass
I have and do own other earbuds, from the cheap-o bargain ones you might find at TJMax, to a pair of AirPods
It is remarkable to listen to such quality sound through such affordable earphones, and this just goes to show the advances in HiFi these budget manufacturers have achieved over time.

In the end, as much as they might have sounded good, the fact that earbuds tend to get lost or broken and you never get to use the same pair for an extended period of time, I started longing for cheaper options.
The bluetooth cable, ($12), would be a great option for the

I initially gave the ZS5's 4 stars due to the bare bones cheap cables included for the earphones, but will revise it accordingly as the earphones wear, provided the hardware holds up to normal use.
Another person had a similar issue and posted a question on Amazon so that is proof right there that the cable with the built in mic is defective from factory.
Great affordable IEM with a detachable cable and V-shaped sound signature
The only down sides so far are that the cable is sticky and hard to keep untangled, and you have to be careful what kind of rubber tips you try on them as some kinds might slide off in your ear and require someone else to do an extraction with a pair of tweezers
They work perfectly but the cable it comes with is not that great.

Some previous reviews say that the design is uncomfortable on the ears and I can say that for me -note I have relatively small
Why?) that no one but the wearer will see, seem to be a stupid, unnecessary design element
Nonetheless thought I’d see if KZ has outdone themselves with the KZ KZ5.The soundstage on the KS5’s are much improved from my ATE’s... far more clearer and crisper than the ATE

The base response on these are better, though getting accustomed to the unusual shape and finding the right fit/position for these takes some trial and error

But the shape is extremely uncomfortable because of the sharp edges and they really hurt my ears
I really wish they didn't give them such harsh shape
