The frame needs some extra support to stiffen it up if you are going to take it on and off the wall on a regular basis.

Working out of a home office I can decorate with nice framed pictures and such on the main walls, but at the same time have a very functional bulletin board that sits low on the wall just above my desktop.

It looks like they might have changed the frame from a previous model, because the mounting notch shown in the instructions is different from what it actually looks like

Pins poke out dents on the aluminized back of the board but the frame keeps it far enough away from the wall to prevent contact with the wall.
