The board's own magnetic coating holds the included "punctuation" magnets well, and the ultra-smooth surface does very well with a decent dry-erase marker, erasing cleanly.

While this is not something I like, it's not really a problem.- the dry-erase marker seems a little dried out, but the whiteboard eraser built into the cap is a brilliant idea.

Considering this is a dry erase board, you kind of know what to expect from it.

If you buy this, I'd recommend buying a set of dry-erase pens to go along with it because the one that comes with the board is semi-dried out from the start

Of course it's lost when the pen is replaced.- biggest complaint is the clip that holds the dry-erased marker faces away from the board.

You can make the most of the dry-erase board if you use other general-purpose dry-erase markers (my all time favorites are these Quartet EnduraGlide Fine Tip Dry-Erase Markers, Assorted Colors, 4 Pack (5001-10M) (round tip) however they don't fit in the click-

Or if it breaks, you can replace it with a DIY.Unboxing: this package includes the dry-erase board, one small dry-erase marker with a small eraser at the top, two magnets (one question-mark and one exclamation point), and a ziplock style bag that includes the stickers and magnets for mounting the board (this bag is stapled to the back of the dry-erase board with four staples)

One caution: do not press over-hard as the cardboard construction is not very firm and it is not difficult to dent the surface of your dry-erase board
