Nice size, comes with a cool little dry erase pen which clips to the top of the board, and perfectly sized for daily use.
For under $8, you can't expect a very good dry-erase board
It's a pretty dry-erase board but the pin color against the black doesn't show up very well.
It is slightly darker than non-magnetic white board surfaces, however, it is nowhere near as dark as some other magnetic dry erase surfaces
The board's own magnetic coating holds the included "punctuation" magnets well, and the ultra-smooth surface does very well with a decent dry-erase marker, erasing cleanly.
The magnets are quite sufficient to the task of keeping the whiteboard onto the fridge
buttons are colorful, and have circular soft magnets glued to
The magnets on the front for holding little note papers, etc, are always falling off as well
There are two ways to mount this either using the sticky pads for everyday surfaces or using both the sticky pads and the magnets for magnetic surfaces (eg fridge door)
You can snap a regular dry erase marker into them and they have very strong magnets.
You can make the most of the dry-erase board if you use other general-purpose dry-erase markers (my all time favorites are these Quartet EnduraGlide Fine Tip Dry-Erase Markers, Assorted Colors, 4 Pack (5001-10M) (round tip) however they don't fit in the click-
So far I've been able to erase without leaving residue behind which tends to happen sometimes when the writing stays on for too long or by using the wrong marker, so at least the one that comes with the board is meant for it.
It’s a cool size but the marker is hard to get going and doesn’t always show up the best.
Marker did not work well even after following the instructions so had to buy separate markers to use
The markers that come with the boards write well and there isn't a shadow left on the boards when you erase.
Quartet ReWritables Dry Erase Mini Markers with Cap Mounted Erasers, 6-Marker Pack, Assorted Standard Colors (51-659312Q)My advice would be to buy the cheapest board with the smoothest, most writable (and erasable) surface and then spend the $$$ on Expo or another top-rated dry-erase marker.
This dry erase board is the perfect size for my wall-mounted desk
The back of the dry-erase board is cardboard, not the same material as the front
The board's own magnetic coating holds the included "punctuation" magnets well, and the ultra-smooth surface does very well with a decent dry-erase marker, erasing cleanly.
Considering this is a dry erase board, you kind of know what to expect from it.
