A necessary evil as I use their payroll for myself the only employee; the annual combo software purchase is a bit cheaper than payroll alone online which I don't want to use as don't want my info shared

NOW the customer service agent will ask if they can help with anything else, say "YES!"Now, we ask them to activate the 1 Year Enhanced Payroll subscription we purchased from Amazon using the license number of Quickbooks

BEWARE that Intuit will require a credit card on file for the Payroll Enhanced feature, even if you only have 1 employee that is covered by the program for free

So, if you already have Enhanced Payroll you will not be able to automatically update your payroll subscription but will be required to call in to QuickBooks and waste a half hour as the customer service representative makes extending the payroll subscription as painful as QuickBooks can.

I do not recommend this payroll or bookkeeping product at all.

The "Enhanced Payroll" alone is $30+ a month

Payroll is a mess

They will need to collect a credit card number for payroll fees, not the Enhanced Payroll subscription

After that you can do proper payroll (including direct deposits into employees' accounts) and pay your taxes/file forms in 5-10 minutes every 2 weeks

I upgrade every year because it is cheaper to buy both QuickBooks and Enhanced Payroll as a bundle from Amazon than it is to renew my payroll subscription from Intuit.

it would be nice if QB Premier would include payroll for 5 small business employees or provide a lower price stand alone payroll module.

The card will AUTOMATICALLY be charged $410 next year for Payroll renewal even though you can get the entire package (a brand-new version of QuickBooks PLUS Payroll Enhanced) for less than $200 via Amazon

The payroll by intuit that comes with this product is AWFUL!!

I called 866-223-5562 and cancelled my Enhanced payroll

Payroll and quarterly tax returns are a breeze and take minutes to do.

However if you are just looking to get into using something for a new business and you have other options, please read the other bad reviews of Intuit's business practices and run away as fast as you can!!!!!!
