I have had the unit lose connection 3 times and have to be reconfigured every time.

looses connection from time to time.. even though its fairly close to the routerbut when she is working, its awesome

and it's never lost connection, and whether I'm home or on the road it never takes more than a couple seconds for the app to connect.

but I still had a consistent connection

It CONTINUALLY loses connection to my wifi network.

Talk to the tech folks who were helpful when on the phone, then it would lose connection again.

However it is constantly losing connection to the wifi and does not (to my knowledge) reconnect after it has disconnected.

and when it did the interface is so unfriendly, but before i could do anything with it it lost connection.

Easy connection and understandable directions

Two things to be aware of... if you type in an incorrect WiFi password, the system will tell you have a bad network connection, nothing about bad account credentials.

First, connecting to the wi-fi as another connection is ridiculous.

Weekly my Wifi LNK would lose connection.

They connection is spotty at best

Flawless connection, then disconnect

It has to have a very strong and unobstructed Wifi connection to work properly

It would reset regularly and lose connection on 5ghz wifi

I have a strong connection to the Rainbird system and even so it still has some lag and the interface is somewhat clunky

Only likes 2.4 gH connection for setup, then works mixed!

This was not the cure, however, as I still had odd connection issues with the replacement (which was actually manufactured earlier than the one I originally had, based on serial #s).I FINALLY figured out that the wifi connection was for some reason dropping off/out.

I run a mesh network and get an excellent connection

Also, it does have a tendency to lose the WiFi connection, which is a PITA to deal with

Downloaded the app and secured a WiFi connection

Very Very weak connection distance, so you better buy another hotspot and place it within 20ft.

After giving up on the former, I was successful with using iPhone XR but the connection was lost repeatedly.

Loses connection periodically, but is pretty stable as long as you are using it.

More importantly, the biggest flaw is it's weak signal strength - didn't even work with a WiFi extender installed right next to the Rain Bird console and when it does (1/20 times), the connection is always spotty.

Installation was fairly easy and the connection has been solid

Sometimes loses connection but reconnects after a few minutes; it doesnt feel like the fastest thing in the world and I do not know if it is the controller or this device; still faster and easier than walking all the way to the controller.

In the garage, my phone showed a strong connection but the Rain Bird adapter had intermittent problems connecting.
