I love their 1/4" hose, but their 1/2" hose is a disappointment.

I have bought soak-er hoses from Walmart that waste too much water

this photo shows going from 1/2” rainbird tube into a non-rainbird barbed connector with 1/2” male threads (it ultimately needed stainless steel hose clamps because it did seep a little)

No fault of rainbirds, as I'm sure they were trying to make a kink free hose as much as possible.

the hose is very very stiff, it makes even simple bends difficult.

Either this hose is defective or the Rain Bird fittings are.
