Overall, I find them to be a better value over Duracell or Energizer.
Rayovac is the only battery that I think has any worthwhile long lasting value.
A good value for use in items that will use this size of battery.

Nothing too exciing about batteries, but a good buy and handy to have so many on hand.
Some people are weary buying batteries online because they might get an old batch that doesnt work
This was a great buy and rayovac always has good batteries.
Seems like a good buy but time will tell how long lasting they are.
Good buy will purchase again when needed will share with family and friends too.

It was a bit difficult to find a test which compared the three top "D" batteries with each other.

They are like any other battery -- fully charged when you get them and tend to drain as they are used
D Cells in a convenient storage pack, that is re-closable, so that the batteries do not roll all over the inside of your freezer.
A little cheaper, and the 12 pack is perfect for loading a lot of flashlights.
Oh.. And the 12 pack is great as opposed to other maker's 8 packs.

I like the packaging -- you can take out one battery, and close the cover on the remaining batteries.
For some reason, opening packages of batteries has been the bane of my existence since childhood, but no more!!!!
The batteries last as long as any and the packaging is much superior to the other major brands.
