Able to pick up 18 channels .Sound is great with with external speakers from my lap topbought a different antenna

The antenna it comes with isnt that great either, the guy in the store couldnt even pick anything up to show it to me

But they should have taken some of that technical ability and improved the antenna

If you're looking for a small, portable TV that can run on batteries when it has to, gets great reception (when connected to a decent antenna) and won't break the bank, then I highly recommend the RTV86073

This unit is nice to have on camping trips and the like but again be prepared to get a true functional small portable antenna preferably using real coax, for any of these portable TV's, these antennas do exist

If you upgraded to a stronger antennae, it would be a better signal.

I'm using a $20 antenna I had lying around

I added a small portable speaker I already had, as the tv sound definitely is tinny...as well as a different antenna, as the previous reviews recommended.

We are going to buy a better antenna and hopefully that will solve our problem.

Using an external cheap antenna this little TV picked up all the NYC stations that I get from my roof antenna

The antenna is pretty picky, at least where I live.

The stand needs to be readjusted so it can hold the TV up more for better viewing and, the detachable antenna does not bring signals in very well.

The antenna is tricky and needs to be repositioned many times until you can get a signal that's good; moving it a few inches could result in a bad signal
