    • Able to pick up 18 channels .Sound is great with with external speakers from my lap topbought a different antenna
    • The antenna it comes with isnt that great either, the guy in the store couldnt even pick anything up to show it to me
    • But they should have taken some of that technical ability and improved the antenna
    • If you're looking for a small, portable TV that can run on batteries when it has to, gets great reception (when connected to a decent antenna) and won't break the bank, then I highly recommend the RTV86073
    • As mentioned by other reviewers, I'll buy a better antenna.
    • Save time and aggravation and order a more suitable antenna, speakers, and chargers.
    • and I really like the detachable antenna

    • This unit is nice to have on camping trips and the like but again be prepared to get a true functional small portable antenna preferably using real coax, for any of these portable TV's, these antennas do exist
    • I really liked the TV, however I would have liked a better reception indoors, the only antenna I use outdoors
    • I got what I thought was a better antenna, but I think you can be just fine with the antenna it comes with.
    • If you upgraded to a stronger antennae, it would be a better signal.
    • The included antenna was fair, but a better antenna should have been included such as one that has more elements to pick up the TV signals better
    • Our house is around 30 miles from the tv stations in Tulsa and I discovered when I set up this tv that I DID need a better and bigger antenna
    • Now I need someone to recommend a really cheap and good indoor antenna.
    • little antennae works
    • I plan to buy a better antenna.
    • From remote areas to big cities, the little antenna that comes with it is never enough
    • Was glad I am a pack-rat and had a full-sized old set of rabbit-ears antenna available to use so I can get 2 of the major local stations in Tulsa for news & weather updates
    • Everything comes in clear and I love the antenna with a magnet on the end
    • Now I need someone to recommend a really cheap and good indoor antenna.
    • Three antennas were tried, which includes the recommended one, and it still doesn't work
    • Perhaps an outdoor/rotating antenna would do the trick.
    • * The included external antenna is abominable and almost worthlessFirst Impressions - Setup:This television was well packaged, and was better in that respect than many on the market.
    • The original antenna that came with it is pretty much useless.
    • I have this item and am not unhappy with it, but the antenna is a joke and would like to purchase a better one.
    • I would have given it 5 stars if it had a better antenna.
    • The tuner in this RCA TV is just as good as most home TV tuner's, it just needs an adequate antenna to work well

    • I'm using a $20 antenna I had lying around
    • I added a small portable speaker I already had, as the tv sound definitely is tinny...as well as a different antenna, as the previous reviews recommended.
    • We are going to buy a better antenna and hopefully that will solve our problem.
    • The antenna plugs into a screw cable port like most TVs
    • The best thing about this little TV is that it has a standard coax antenna jack, so you can hook up a decent antenna to it.
    • PICTURE SHOWS GREAT, NEEDS STRONGER ANTENNA FOR SOME LOCAL TV STATIONS.
    • The antenna that comes with it is not the best for me as I live over 17 miles from the closest broadcast tower but in the open I can pick up some stations
    • Using an external cheap antenna this little TV picked up all the NYC stations that I get from my roof antenna
    • The antenna is pretty picky, at least where I live.
    • The stand needs to be readjusted so it can hold the TV up more for better viewing and, the detachable antenna does not bring signals in very well.
    • The antenna is tricky and needs to be repositioned many times until you can get a signal that's good; moving it a few inches could result in a bad signal
    • We even bought a new antenna and it still did not work!!
    • Included with the TV was a brochure on what looked like a much better antenna.
    • I tested with the accompanying antenna as well as a larger "leaf" style antenna and agree with other reviewers that the antenna leaves a bit to be desired
    • The only drawbacks were the small antenna that doesn't really provide good reception and the really POOR remote control, which almost doesn't work, very difficult key responses, as well as no better reception than the Auvio unit has
    • In my case, I bought this here on a Lightning Deal when the price was below forty buck, which made it an exceptional value, even with the almost useless antenna.
    • A better antenna made all the difference.
    • Of course, if you connect the input to cable or satellite, your reception will be as good as with any modern television set at any price
