The APP is not good at all

The app works well on my Android and on my Wife's iPhone and our iPad

Given my experiences with the camera's poor image quality when any motion was introduced, total loss of picture under moderate light changes (think dimming your dining room lights 1/2 way), the windows software being extremely poor buggy and prone to crashing, and the Android and Apple mobile apps being mediocre at best, I am highly suspicious of the 5 star reviews for this thing

Not only will it not view full resolution, the app is not compatible with with a chromebook

The app has been working well thus far

The picture was clear and the app was fast and flawless

So I concluded it is an NVR or a router issue (which I haven't troubleshot yet).The reolink app couldn't be easier to configure

Flash is dead, scrap the native apps, support HTML5

Below is pasted the product description, it clearly states it has audio function, yet once configured the app tells you "not supported"

Bottom line: this camera and setup are not user-friendly for the general public, the app is extremely clunky, online instructions are terrible and the cam is lacking in some key features (like ability to set the time to your time zone), but once you get it up and running, the view has great quality and is very clear, plus it seems to be a solid physical build, definitely not flimsy.

I didn't use the smart phone app or the SD Card

Less secure apps and turn it on meaning google will allow connections from less secure apps (like thr reolink app)IF WIFI TEST FAILS , then you must make sure your security is wep and the password is not longer than 16 characters

The Reolink mobile app works fine but you don't have access to all the features, just some like the sensitivity but not the areas where to detect motion

The new Reolink Mobile app makes administration of the camera super easy and intuitive.

The directions are pretty straight forward, the app and client software for your phone and computer are very intuitive and I could have gotten by without the directions probably

D-link has the worst app

Now the app crashes constantly on her laptop (so I removed it)
