This is a simple device, basically a portable cassette player which will interface with your computer via USB cable.

The player worked for 1 side of the first tape and then stopped working.

The player was ready-to-use and connected immediately with the software.

My son absolutely loves his tape player ....he has played old and new tapes on this and they sound great.

Turns out that they don'take a ton of portable cassette players because of the sub-par audio quality inherent in tape technology

I bought it because i didn't have a portable cassette player, (i later bought and fixed an authentic Sony Walkman)

but then when I went to do it again, the player would not play, not fast forward, not rewind, just a hum when any of those buttons were pressed (tried different tapes).

This cassette player is worth the cost as it has an advantage over other portable players - many ways to power the device or send audio to it

I would recommend this player if you want to transfer some old cassettes to CD or your computer.
