They play too slow and it distorts the sound

Was easy to use, and produced excellent sound files.

Only dislike is no sound unless earphones or connected to computer.

this is an inexpensive device to readily convert tapes to digital content - if you have a few mixes that were just the perfect combination or sounds of your kids etc, this is a great device

Easy to use and the sound is excellent.

Chose this player because Amazon rated it as a Best Seller, WRONG, it is a piece of plastic crap, would not work on my computer, no sound was available unless you use the earbuds.

Sound isn’t good at all playing thru the headphone jack, with a constant low pitched buzz.

I can literally get ZERO sound from this....absolutely useless.

Had to disable sound to get this to record correctly but all in all it works

so I had to download it from Audacity's website, and if you have a good pair of headphones use them instead of the included earphones ,you don't get good sound from them

The sound is beautiful and perfect

Audacity has some great features and I was able to remove most of the unwanted sound.

Horrible grinding sound trasferred to recording.

I have bought this for almost half a year, and I have been using it till now without any problems, and it still has a very clear sound.

The only problem i had with this is when you try to move the music to digital, the is a loud thump sound in the background.

You do hear the hiss sound like back in the day

Nice sound easy to use

This was a great idea, super excited to modify tapes to mp3s, however the sound was not great motor sound in the background and then its worked for a few songs then stopped recording just like that.

I walk with this every day and the sound is reliable and the player is solid.

The device I received makes a strange clicking sound that carries over into the .mp3 recording.

Overall sound and quality was good , easy to use

works as advertised, sound is a little tinny but overall not noticeable unless being very critical
