• Reviews around guitar hero (4.33 of 5)

    Rock Band 3

    • For example, activating "Overdrive" (Star Power if you come from Guitar Hero) is less distracting but still visually attractive
    • I've played the previous Rock Band games, as well as a few Guitar Hero games
    • I tried using my Guitar Hero drums instead, and they worked better, plus the orange cymbal can be used as the green cymbal
    • While the software game itself is quite good, and I still recommend it IF you are using it with Guitar Hero or 3rd party guitar controllers,
    • El juego es compatible con los instrumentos de guitar hero warriors of rock.
    • Anyway on Christmas Eve my Daughter came over and they played Guitar Hero against each other for the 1st time in years
    • I'm also disappointed that the game still doesn't allow more than one player on guitar in band mode, as Guitar Hero does, rather than forcing one of the guitar controllers to play bass
    • and I have purchased the MadCatz Keyboard and Guitar plus some Guitar Hero/Rock Band 5 button guitars (from Amazon)
    • Also, in the Music store, you can download multiple tracks by the same artist at a discounted price, just like in the Guitar Hero music store
    • I've got several Guitar Hero games and Band Hero, but this one is the most fun to play.
    • It's not like guitar hero or band hero where they will party play
    • It's not like guitar hero or band hero where they will party play
    • The music on Rock Band 3 is pretty spread out and there is really a song for everyone, that is the difference I noticed between Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
    • This is one place where Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock beats RB3 hands down.
    • We bought the new keyboard and so far it works fine, although we're keeping our fingers crossed that this dongle-using instrument lasts longer that the original RB guitar did (I really wish Rock Band would start having their instruments use an attached Wii controller, the way Guitar Hero instruments work, rather than using these ridiculous "dongles").
    • It's worth noting that Rock Band on Wii was a lazy PS2 port until Vicarious Visions, the team responsible for the Guitar Hero series on Wii, proved just how much is possible with GH:WT and GH5
    • so Vicarious Visions can take over on the Wii side of things and do for Rock Band what they've done for Guitar Hero on the platform
    • Some details just aren't that appealing (as in previous games, the notes 'explode' when played, but this time they do so in a cloud of cheesy-looking smoke)
