Beyond the tuning experience and some unclear instruction in a lesson or two, this program, well, "rocks

The original songs are all very much rock-oriented (hence the name of the game), with a lot of classic rock, alternative and heavy metal (and not much punk, only a couple of tracks from Green Day and the Ramones)

This is really a pretty good guitar teaching method and not a fun party game, like Rock Band or Guitar Hero

This game (which I call edutainment) is not like Rock Band or Guitar Hero since you are actually learning to play real rock guitar
