Well, I can do the same thing just playing songs on my TV through youtube, with my guitar plugged straight to the amp.

I can't say enough good things about it.

Another good thing is that they are still creating new DLC, although at $3 a song, it can get a little pricey.

BUT, it's a great intro, teaching you important things like chords, how to hold a guitar, and get you motivated by providing a huge library of GOOD songs to use

Maybe things will get better with future patches, but right now the PC version works better for me--and it too has its issues.

Important thing to know about this game: you need a guitar with a 1/4" output jack to play this game
