When the real lessons begin, the interface is very similar to Guitar Hero

I highly recommend this game to anyone who liked guitar hero games and want something a bit more challenging.

I played Guitar Hero back in the day, but as the games got more intricate, it was getting harder and harder justifying all the practicing I was doing on a fake guitar while my real one was collecting dust

To be straight Guitar hero has 4 buttons with one toggle

The playing prompt looks almost the same as Guitar Hero which I find counter intuitive and confusing

If you're worried that the game will leave out specific details on technique, you should know that aside from playing tracks from the library of songs, there's also the option to watch and practice in interactive tutorial videos (featuring real guitarists), play in the 'Guitarcade' (which allows you to practice techniques, from simple volume control to slides, chords, bends and scales!), or participate in a more Guitar Hero-esque mode with set difficulties

They start with a video showing a guitar player demonstrating the technique, then you get to try it using the Guitar Hero-style interface

It seems like there was more emphasis placed on having backgrounds and effects like a Guitar Hero game than ironing out all angles of the teaching method

It’s a great game for someone wanting to learn how to play guitar, and it’s not very demanding in regards to hardware requirements, I can play it on my cheap o laptop
