The cable has been great so far--I'm not experiencing any latency issues that is often documented with the cable

2014 Edition Remastered for PC by Ubisoft really isn't a game but guitar lessons that are made fun enough that even a kid will enjoy all the practice that goes along with mastering an instrument

I'd say the biggest con is that this is marketed as the fastest way to learn guitar

The game adjusts its difficulty by how well you play, so the quicker you learn, the quicker it will adapt and unlock the 'real guitar score', and doing it this way makes it incredibly rewarding

If you are playing along and having trouble, it slows the song down so you can be more accurate

Not a large variety of popular songs included with the game, although many obscure songs by well known artists and a few well known ones as well

I'm already making great progress on songs like 'My Next Girl', 'Thnx fr the Mmrs', and 'Tribute'.I seriously cannot recommend this product enough, and encourage anyone with an electric guitar or bass to pick it up with the cable, but BE WARNED that ordering it through Amazon has had a high rate of shipments arriving without the CD code, so you may have to request it through Ubisoft

, it would not tune my short scale bass to standard, it kept telling me I was in standard when I was in drop D, my 5 string full scale would tune right up, but my 4 string full scale would not even be close to standard tuning, many times during game play it would not pick up the notes I picked (thinking it was a battery issue, I have active pick up on the short scale and the 5 string, I changed batteries and even plugged in the 4 string with passive pick ups and had the same issue from time to time)One last thing, I am using the patch cord that came with the gameI would not recommend this product

I have used it to learn several songs, as well as some basic 101 instruction (and I'm barely scratching the surface of what Rocksmith offers!).I am not a huge fan of the amount of DLC for this game, but the regular Steam sales help make it manageable and keeps me from breaking the bank too badly.

I'm playing on a pretty standard Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty and have had zero issues as far as tuning and holding that tuning are concerned

I was finally able to get past calibration only to discover that the tuning function does not work

My friends who bought it on Steam said that there were issues when tuning on PC versus a console, so I was a bit worried when I received this PC copy.
