This game is a great tool for a novice like me!

The packaging saying it's been updated with a downloadable customizable learning curve, improved practice tools, stat tracking, improved menus and more....since I'm not familiar with original, it's all the same to me.50+ songs included with songs from 2000's and back to classic rock options

Don't overlook this as another tool in the shed to use in helping you to improve yourself over a shorter period of time.

Until this is fixed, I cannot recommend this as a teaching tool for beginners

If you are a brand new beginner this is a great tool to use

It's far better to actually hear yourself play rather than the game require you to algorithmically and mechanically hit notes at explicit times that makes this game an extremely complicated QTE.If you go into the game knowing how to play guitar at something beyond beginner, maybe this would be fun, but as a learning tool, which is how Ubisoft promoted it, it is not fun

This is an outstanding practice tool

Overall, if you can get it to work properly this software is a decent practice tool, but you definitely want to take some lessons along with the software.

There are some fantastic tools here for teaching guitar once they can get the software to identify correctly.

This game is probably a great supplemental tool to those learning guitar through traditional means, but I really had no traditional training, mostly teaching myself very simple songs prior to this via tablature
