Great experience

Definitely a great experience, and it's fun to play on the bigger sound system and huge TV.

If that's not enough for you, there are additional songs and song packs for specific bands available for purchase through the Microsoft store (I assume that Sony has the same in its store for PS4 users).All in all a great experience for beginners and experienced guitar-players alike.

I suppose some will plot through this and be fine, but as a learning tool, there needs to be a pre-programmed structure option that will force you thru the proper exercises for the best learning experience.

Also, what other equipment is necessary to get the superb experience?

The experience is truly amazing

Knowing upfront what I was getting into did not at all sour my experience with it

They have made improvements to make it an enjoyable experience to practice and build on some of the basic skills for guitar

I also use a splitter to connect my guitar to an amp and the xbox one which lets me alter my own guitar sound and sound level for a great playing experience.

But overall experience with the purchasing was good.

The default has the low "E" as the top string and this can seem to be helpful at first but it will really throw you off then you start to use TAB books.
