It does not hinder the audio quality of the recording in any way.
-
I find with this on, the quality is much better with it off, so I just keep it on the whole time
-
RODE has always made great products with great sound quality
-
It is built very solid, a nice short (but not too short) cable to connect to your camera, great quality (even in noisy situations
-
It cuts the strong wind, while getting good quality sound.
-
I was recording outside on a windy day and you couldn't really hear the wind, and it doesn't muffle sound so the quality of the video is still good
-
Greatly improved the quality of my Rode VideoMic!
-
Also, coupled with Canon poor audio recording quality
-
Its build quality is great, but does shed slightly like a dead kitten
-
good quality, easy to install , and very bright
-
great quality
-
Fits my mic, love the quality :)
-
I personally prefer to record my audio separately, off camera, with a zoom or a tascam, and then sync back in post, but i have found that for certain situations (especially run and gun type filmmaking) that is not always possible, and it's nice to have a good backup of at least decent quality audio with the rode on the camera at all times, just in case something goes wrong with my other audio options
-
It does add size to your recording setup, but the quality of sound you get back is worth the trade off.
-
Excellent quality!!
-
Fine quality fabric!
-
It's a little morbid calling this windscreen a dead kitten, but it works wonders on improving the sound quality in noisy situations
-
Other than bands issue, it does not provide proper sound quality, I think for this money sound should be much better, for instance it's very sensitive to wind noise, as sensitive as my internal mic is
-
This delivered the same great quality.
-
It really improves the sound quality in your recordings.
-
NTG-2 (Rode NTG2 Condenser Shotgun Microphone) mics and I absolutely love the quality and performance
-
I thought the sound quality was halfway decent with the built in microphone on my Sony SLT-77
-
It doesn't reduce the threat entirely, but it really improves the quality.
-
Prevents wind noise and improves audio quality.
-
The sound quality definitely improves a lot compared to un built micophones
-
Not much to say here but the product works as it should.
-
Otherwise, the windscreen works as it should on my Zoom H4n recorder.
-
People seem confused as to how to put this on the mic based on several other reviews
