There is a very rhythmic popping, and some other random noise

For some reason it introduces sharp popping sounds into your audio

Nothing made it more obvious then receiving it today, opening the package, plugging the mic into my phone, and hearing this aggravating popping noise

then suddenly I was getting loud pops.

It works sometimes, but randomly it makes LOUD popping noises

I have since replaced the phone with a Galaxy S7, and now a Note 7 (no it hasn't caught fire...yet) and still the popping noise

I have to put the phone into airplane mode when using this mic, otherwise it picks up pops and radio interference noise

This mic is fine if I plug it in and don't touch my iPhone, but if I'm holding the phone or moving around at all then I sometimes get loud static pops.

The wind screen that came with it acts as an excellent pop filter and is a definite plus.

Got the VideoMic Me so I could do some light vlogging with my Pixel XL, but unfortunately, there was some awful static/popping that occurred after only a couple days of owning it

If you have it near your phone as a hot spot, or near a router, or anything wireless internet, you will get a popping, hissing sound that will RUIN your video!
