    Rode VideoMicPro Compact Directional On-Camera Microphone with Rycote Lyre Shockmount

    • Ultimately when recording a video (with audio) it causes unbearable static and popping noises of any signal is going to or from the device
    • So I went back and watched and it was a bad static
    • Intermittent static and noise on the mic but not sure if it's the mic or the phone - galaxy s6
    • As you'll probably just pick up some lousy static on top of some reasonably good recordings.

    • The missing fifth star is due to the fact that they plastic shock mount broke (one arm only, so it still works) as it isn't easy to remove from the mic for storage.
    • I use mine on top of my Canon T6i, as well as on the end of the Rode Micro Boom Pole, and with a microphone boom stand, and I have enjoyed the high quality sound his microphone provides
    • Not as good as the Video Mic Pro but doesn't require a battery and is a lot more affordable
