Ultimately when recording a video (with audio) it causes unbearable static and popping noises of any signal is going to or from the device

So I went back and watched and it was a bad static

As you'll probably just pick up some lousy static on top of some reasonably good recordings.

The mic sounded great for a while but failed after one year, terrible static and interruption

This mic is not worth $1, since we were never able to get it working with an without crazy static

Also, when I used it for a Facebook Live chat, there was annoying buzzing/static the whole time

With WiFi enabled on the camera, the static I mentioned before passes the point of editable and the audio suffers greatly

Flexible Built-in MicYou have to keep in mind that this wireless microphone for iphone is characterized with tiny shotgun as well as it can be directly picked up in front of it

When in the wind it isn't as great as I would hope, however works perfectly with my GH4 and the quality is great

The missing fifth star is due to the fact that they plastic shock mount broke (one arm only, so it still works) as it isn't easy to remove from the mic for storage.

I use mine on top of my Canon T6i, as well as on the end of the Rode Micro Boom Pole, and with a microphone boom stand, and I have enjoyed the high quality sound his microphone provides

Not as good as the Video Mic Pro but doesn't require a battery and is a lot more affordable
