I love the effective 18mm angle and highly recommend it, especially given the modest price.
-
Very well made and on my camera manual focus is highlighted (a6000) for easy use.18mm on the camera which is plenty wide
-
First, despite being a prime, it's not as sharp as the SONY E PZ 18-105mm F4 G OSS at 18mm
-
I took a vacation to NYC and this lens barely left my camera the entire time, even though I have the very decent 35mm and 50mm primes.
-
This lens is an absolute bargain compared to the sony 10-18mm and zeiss 12mm options.
-
The much expensive Touit 12mm might be sharper than this lens, but I have not noticed any loss of sharpness with this lens in my experience.
-
I had read the Rokinon 14mm 2.8 had heavy barrel distortion with moustache style sub-distortion
-
This is probably the sharpest 12mm lens you can put on a Sony E mount camera right now
-
(caveat: There is a wide angle zoom (11-22mm) available overseas, and supposedly Canon will continue to support the EOS-M system with other lenses later this year)
