Sharpness is VERY good across the frame between f/5.6 and f/8.0

I was very hesitant to shoot on a manual lens because the idea for getting this was to improve the quality and sharpness of my shots

Sharpness in the corners and edges improves up to about f8.

Great contrast and sharpness with image quality at the level of Zeiss

Upon doing some more testing I've found that along the plane of focus, the lens maintains awesome sharpness, even out to the edges

Mainly sticking to F/4 - F/8 for optimal sharpness

The sharpness is far superior to the Sony 16-50 kit lens.

I will give it 4 stars and may bump it up to 5 as I get more experienced with it and take more photos.

Using this lens all the way closed at f/22 is not recommended as it is noticeably soft, although it is not unbearable
