I purchase this lens for the price and am surprised by the great image quality

2) What an incredibly sharp image such a "cheap" lens takes... and 3) Worst/cheapest lens cover ever.

NO sharp images so far

You do have to play around with the focus to give you a sharp image.

Images are sharp and with distortion control set to "on" in the camera and also vignetting control, the images are impressive.

You can get amazing celestial images with this lens!

However, the field of view, the fast aperture (f2.8) and great image quality is almost unthinkable at this price!

After reviewing sample images on the internet, I didn't hesitate to buy it because the images looked very sharp

However, when I hooked it up with my Sony NEX 5, i got Incredibly SHARP images.

but it has a fast aperture and produces a super crisp image

At just over $400 with the focus confirm chip it performs very well delivering consistently sharp images

Not as sharp as I'd like, as my kit lense are much sharper.

While this wide focus adjustment range is a nice engineering achievement, in close shots (especially one meter or closer as well as in low light conditions), it however becomes difficult to see which point is in focus since in the small view-finders literally everything appears in focus

That strikes me as so odd that it's probably something I'm not doing right
