Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Ultra Wide Angle Fixed Lens w/Built-in AE Chip for Nikon

    • I purchase this lens for the price and am surprised by the great image quality
    • Great quality for the price, sharp, wish it had autofocus, but for the price 14
    • Good quality, it is not really sharp on edges, but it works for me
    • Great quality, excellent night sky pictures taken.
    • This lens can be a good lens for you; however, because Rokinon has poor quality control, you may get a good copy ... or not.
    • Lens quality control not as good
    • Third, it has a nice feel and quality to it
    • The build quality is superb
    • a very good lens sharp reliable and a very sturdy build quality
    • It produces the best quality pictures with the best sharpness on the market just on its own...so not to mention for the price!
    • so there is no reason this should be an issue other than poor quality and cheap materials
    • While the Tamron 17-35 f/2.8-f/4 lens was great quality, I found out quickly the extra 3mm on the full frame makes a world difference.
    • Good quality, not easy to use (totally manual, and of course it distorts a lot if tilted)
    • So far I’m not impressed by the quality but I will revise my review if the next copy is of better quality
    • Overall, good quality lens, great value.
    • Great picture quality!
    • However, the field of view, the fast aperture (f2.8) and great image quality is almost unthinkable at this price!
    • Great image quality without the huge cost.
    • That said, the quality is good for such a cheap lens
    • At its sharpest aperture, f/5.6, it's sharp corner-to-corner on an APS-C camera.-Very good build quality.
    • Well built, great quality!
    • The build quality of course is very solid.
    • Not as sharp as I'd like, as my kit lense are much sharper.
    • While this wide focus adjustment range is a nice engineering achievement, in close shots (especially one meter or closer as well as in low light conditions), it however becomes difficult to see which point is in focus since in the small view-finders literally everything appears in focus
    • That strikes me as so odd that it's probably something I'm not doing right
