For the Full HD content, the TV is a better media player, and always the audio works as well.

This player works great with my ultra 4K TV

The player itself is speedy with little start up time, and it doesn't take long for channels to load once launched

So, I can NOT recommend this player if you plan on using the Amazon Video App

* Some apps (like Hulu) do not even show progress bars (you have to guess the ones you've seen if you watch out of order);* Remote control has no TV OFF button, so you always need to use your tv remote for that;* Integrated search doesn't really search on every app, and the voice search (for people that have ultra or old gen) is not as good as with Google and Apple.

Also, the 4K UHD channels would periodically freeze as though they were buffering
